Thank-you teacher Alana for setting up the “Inspir{Ed} at Home” series this week.
Like many parents, I’m facing unprecedented territory right now, trying to balance supporting my 6-year-old with learning at home, while working from home myself for the first time.
The Learn at Home series was engaging for both me and my daughter with the authenticity of watching you with your girls along with the interactive chat!
The routine of the message and song were fantastic, and my daughter continued to sing the songs and write her own messages throughout the day,
The hands-on learning activities were a huge hit and my daughter looked forward to gathering the materials and creating something special every day.
Materials were easy to find around the house or with a quick trip to the dollar store.
As a mom, I appreciated the guided questioning you modelled with your own daughters and through the chat. These conversations about her design and art helped us to connect on new level.

Wonder, the Arts, Nature Exploration and Play were the cornerstones of the program,
and children’s learning flourished.
